University of Missouri
The Division of Student Affairs Marketing and Communications department at the University of Missouri is charged with handling communications for The Mizzou Store, Zoutique, Campus Dining and more.

As an intern (and later as a Digital Marketing Assistant), I was charged with creating content for these different accounts.

My main internship project for the summer was to create a rebranding strategy for The Mizzou Store social media. My main goal was to make sure that each post looked professional while showing off the beauty of the campus so that students could see themselves using the products that we were promoting.
The first step I took to make The Mizzou Store's social media presence more cohesive was to create a strategic plan and content calendar. Below you can see how our feed changed over time as we began to implement more professional photos into our feed while following a consistent color scheme and posting schedule.
Overall, our Instagram following increased by 9% over the summer.

After my internship, I was hired on as a Digital Marketing Assistant, where I continue to run eight client accounts for the UM System, including The Mizzou Store, MU Campus Dining Services and more.
